How to vote for Bigg Boss Telugu 10 on JioHotstar in 2026

Bigg Boss Telugu is heading into a tenth season, themed Dasavatharam, and the first practical question is always the same: where do you actually vote?
For 2026 the counted vote is inside the JioHotstar app. Everything else — including the poll on this site — is fan conversation. It is not the ballot.
This guide splits those two things: the in-app vote the show uses, and the unofficial poll we run so fans can argue in public. It also covers what not to do. Clone “vote login” pages and OTP/UPI pitches show up every season.
Official vote vs this fan poll
Star Maa carries the Telugu episode on television. JioHotstar carries the stream, the extras, and the vote module when one is open.
In July 2026, JioStar said new seasons of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bangla Bigg Boss would launch together this festive season, from September, on the JioStar television network and JioHotstar. The Hans India Season 10 recap (25 August 2026) puts the same split in plain language: Star Maa for TV, JioHotstar for streaming, promos and voting. It also notes that previous Telugu seasons used in-app voting on JioHotstar as the main official route, and that new-season details should be confirmed from the show’s own announcements once the main competition begins. That last line is the useful one. Do not treat a blog, a WhatsApp graphic, or an old campaign URL as the rulebook. Use what JioHotstar and Star Maa show that week.

JioHotstar steps
Use JioHotstar. There is no separate “BB Telugu vote” app to download.
- Open the JioHotstar app on your phone, or jiohotstar.com on a larger screen, and sign in.
- Search Bigg Boss Telugu or Agnipariksha. Right now the live title is the pre-show. From 6 September, open Season 10.
- Open the current show page — the live stream or the latest episode. Do not stop on a news clip or an old-season thumbnail.
- Scroll just below the player. The vote banner usually sits with the show extras, not inside an article.
- Tap the contestant you want to support and confirm. Wait for the in-app confirmation.
- If the banner says voting is closed, you are outside the window or you opened a previous season. Go back and open the current title.
Follow whatever daily or weekly limit the app prints that day. Outside pages disagree — you will see 1, 10, or 50 depending on who wrote the post — so this article will not invent a number. The screen in front of you is the rule.
Missed-call voting: older Telugu seasons used contestant-wise numbers announced on Star Maa. For Season 10, treat those numbers as valid only if Star Maa or the on-air host displays them that week. Do not dial a number from a WhatsApp forward, a screenshot collage, or last year’s finale. A wrong number can bill you or harvest your details.
Google / Gmail in-search voting is discontinued. Early seasons put a vote card in Google results. That path is gone. If a site tells you to “vote on Google” for 2026, the advice is stale.
An old Hotstar campaign page is still sitting at hotstar.com/campaign/bigg-boss-vote-online/telugu/. Treat it as leftover from an earlier stack. Voting moved into the JioHotstar app. Do not use that URL as a current ballot.
What not to do
Do not vote in a Google snippet. It is not the 2026 method.
Do not use clone “vote login” sites. Pages that ask you to log in to vote, paste an OTP, or connect UPI / a wallet are not the show. JioHotstar already has your account. A random domain does not need a second OTP to “register” anything.
Do not pay to boost a contestant. The in-app vote is free. Anyone selling “guaranteed votes,” “vote packages,” or a paid APK is running a scam.
Do not install unofficial vote apps, from a store listing or an APK link. A guide that explains JioHotstar is fine. An app that claims to cast the real vote is not JioHotstar.
Do not recycle old missed-call numbers. If numbers appear at all, they change. Wait for the on-air graphic.
Agnipariksha 2 vs the main house
Agnipariksha 2 is the commoner pre-show for Season 10. It has been on air since 15 August 2026 on Star Maa and JioHotstar. Sreemukhi hosts. Abijeet, Bindu Madhavi and Navdeep judge. Commoners compete in tasks. Judges — and, when the makers open it, public voting on JioHotstar — decide who earns a seat in Nagarjuna’s house.
The main season, Bigg Boss Telugu 10 (Dasavatharam), premieres Sunday, 6 September 2026, 7pm IST on Star Maa, with streaming on JioHotstar.
Those are two different rooms. A vote or a fan poll during Agnipariksha is about who should enter. Weekly votes after 6 September, once nominations start, are about who stays. Do not mix them, and do not read a pre-show poll as a Season 10 elimination result.
Hans India also notes that Season 9’s winner, Padala Kalyan, came through Agnipariksha. That is why this pre-show is not a sideshow.
